Throwback Thursday

So, This is where we talk about older books. Has your book been out a year or more? Tell us about it! Links and blurb, and maybe your next read will be in the comments below! We are always looking for our next read, and everyone asks about your newest volume.
Here we show love to those books that are already out. Don’t have but one? Share it! Have not published yet? Share your favorite author. Let’s make the comments pop with suggested reading!

Indie Wednesday

We are all about promotion of the indie here. Are you a indie artist or author? Post links to your work! This is the place to brag about your work. Or do you know an indie that needs to be seen? Post a link. Sharing is caring after all. We also welcome you to post services for the indie… If you are an editor, cover designer, or something like that… Post that link!

Teaser Tuesday

What are you working on? Share with us a teaser for something that you are or have done. Share links too so that we can find you… Don’t feel like sharing your work? Well share another indie so that they can be seen!

Motivational Monday

It’s another week, another Monday!

So tell me, what’s your desk to get done for this week? Let’s boost and motivate each other!

Call for Submissions

I am putting together my grandmother’s stories and poetry my boyfriend’s grandmother wrote. But I want it to reflect the wisdom of all grandmothers. So here is my request.

Do you have a story that you remember your grandmother (Abuela) telling? Or a bit of poetry they wrote that you would love to see in print? Try submitting it for this anthology. I am busier than I have any reason to expect – so I am setting the deadline for March first with an expected publishing date of the first of May.

I am also accepting art. I only ask that it be from your grandmothers. And that you are able to give consent for me to publish it. Pictures of Needlepoint or other Physical pieces would be acceptable. Pictures of handwritten recipes, also good. I want to show that not all wisdom was just storytelling and the like.

To submit email the creation and a small introduction (preferred with a picture) of your grandma who created it. The address for this is Faecorpspublishing@gmail.com

I realize that this is gender-biased. I feel like I have more from the amazing women who I am descended from than I do from the men. And since I have been wanting to honor my maternal grandmother… This was born. Maybe I will someday do a call for grandfather lore… But first I need to do this.

This was a personal project that since the changes at Fae Corps I decided to convert to the company project. Please include a picture of your grandma and a small “Introduction”….Basically tell me about her.

Happy New Year
