My Mother’s Ghost Sits Next to Me at the Hotel Bar (with recording)

My Mother’s Ghost Sits Next to Me at the Hotel Bar Blue-tinted and red-mouthed, you light a cigarette that glows green between your lips and smells of menthol and old coffins, burnt fruit and days carved into lonely minutes. I mumble hello, and because you never speak, order a tulip of double IPA, which the […]

I can see the woman who assumes things. Every night she picks the flowers that I throw on the road: withered lilies of the valley. She wants to be me. She wants my blood. She does not know I rearranged the bell-shaped whites so no one else can breathe their sweet scents. No one else…

Meet the Author Serena Mossgraves

Serena Mossgraves swore that she would be in EVERY anthology put out by Fae Corps Inc. And she might have succeeded except for the fact that we split the submissions for Nightmare Whispers into 3 volumes. As it is she is in two of them because she couldn’t decide between the two stories which to submit.

Serena Mossgraves is a twisted faery with the urge to scare the unwitting reader. Her dark tales of nightmares excite the unwary. She has been seen prowling around looking for new tales to twist and share.
She is an avid reader who has always enjoyed the more Gothic settings.
If you are not afraid to seek her out she is on Facebook at
www.facebook.com/serenitysfall and will gladly visit with you there.
