Notes From My Office: August’s Words

We’re not sure yet when we’ll return to the office, but given it’s a possibility in the near future, I’m beginning to think about what […]

Upcoming Calls for submissions

We space our anthologies out so that we have time to get it done right. The ones right now will be released on Halloween. Then in November we are going to post the next one… But because of the holidays, we are going to give until the 31st of January for the submissions. It will release in the spring. We try to do a spring and a fall release, with a random one thrown in. 2021’s two anthology spring and Fall are already planned with the cover design. So be watching here for a Call for submissions the first week of November.

For the curious… I have added 3 upcoming titles to the categories. There are going to be more.

“Would you like your dinner?”

“I’ve never had—“

In fact, she was just whining to me while I typed this. I looked up, asked her to come to my chair…and watched as she passed me and sauntered into the kitchen instead.

The sassiness is real.

I once had a vet tech tell me my dog was overweight. (She was, but only by a few pounds, which she quickly shed with walks…

Here are a couple of pastel paintings I did of that area. I hope you enjoy looking at them.

The Backs, showing the Senate House

The Famous King’s College Chapel from The Backs.

Punting is not as easy as the experts make it look. I saw someone do the common comedy stunt, Quite by…
