Meet the Author : K.T. Seto

So… I am finally back on track. Today I am going to introduce the amazing KT Seto.

K.T. Seto has been creating all of her life and focused on becoming a published author for the past 3 years.
She can’t remember when she started creating. She comes from a family of creators. She said that Debbie at Sacred Rebels convinced me to try and put my work into the world.
When asked why she chose to be an indie author, her response was “Because the market has changed and the only way to be seen in a crowded field is to prove you can do it yourself first.”
Currently she has stories published online in Write of Passion Literary Journal, Dragon’s Within- Claiming her Wings (available on Amazon)
We asked for her links, only to be told the website is down right now, but the url is: http://www.ktseto.com

When asked what she does for fun, or if she has hobbies, KT responded “I paint in oils and sculpt in wire, bake, I read everything and crochet.”
KT lives less than two dozen miles from the capital of the United States. She is a loving mother and grandmother.

When asked about how she deals with writer’s block, KT had this to say. “Yes I have it Often. I manage by immersing myself in something different until I get itchy to write again.”

Meet the Author: Serena Mossgraves

Serena has been a constant in our anthologies so far. She wrote a story for Under The Mists and poetry for Faery Footprints. We are so happy to present Serena again.

Serena Mossgraves is a twisted faery with the urge to scare the unwitting reader. Her dark tales of nightmares excite the unwary. She has been seen prowling around looking for new tales to twist and share. She is an avid reader who has always enjoyed the more gothic settings. If you are not afraid to seek her out she is on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/serenitysfall and will gladly visit with you there.

Meet the Author : Cyndi Pilcher

Ok, so I was trying to do that author list in the same order. I got distracted, and ended up oopsing. I missed our own Cyndi and Serena. I aim to fix that quickly. Today we introduce our very own Cyndi.

A wonderful writer good at telling tales of fantasy for the young and the young at heart.

She is half of Fae Corps, Inc. She is a dedicated gamer, who has been on Wow for several years.

She writes cute children’s books, and adventure filled young adult stories. Her blog, Redbird’s Storytime is a fun place where she shares updates and stories about her faeries.

She has a poem, and a story, in Faery Footprints. She also released a YA novel recently, A Royals Undoing. She has a children’s book out, with another that is being prepared for a re-release (due to a change in illustrator).

She credits her eighth grade teacher Mr. January with her love of writing. She said that she chose to be an Indie author because of the control it grants her. She has quite a lot of experience writing, over 35 years worth! We look forward to reading all of the stories that she has to tell!

Indie Wednesday

We are all about promotion of the indie here. Are you a indie artist or author? Post links to your work! This is the place to brag about your work. Or do you know an indie that needs to be seen? Post a link. Sharing is caring after all. We also welcome you to post services for the indie… If you are an editor, cover designer, or something like that… Post that link!

  2. I will accept poetry, prose, flash fiction, essay, creative nonfiction or art
  3. Pieces of writing should be 1,500 words or less
  4. Your submission must be sent to me by email by midnight EST on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at her.red.pen.wordsmithing@gmail.com.  It should include:

Freedoms

“All logic and reason escaped me.
Because all I wanted was you.
And I couldn’t bring myself to care.”

And I felt it in my bones. The beat of my heart matched the hammering of your footsteps on the cool concrete. And I listened to your soles crunching the gravel beneath them. In those moments, as you came towards me, I felt free. Open. Like nothing in the world could stop us. Like you were the only thing I would ever need. Like not even oxygen would sustain me. All logic and reason escaped me. Because all I wanted was you. And I couldn’t bring myself to care.

Concert (an acrostic poem)

Michael's avatarNever Short On Words

Conducting the music of her life

Olivia is quite the maestro

Never missing an up beat

Crescendoing past anything life threw at her

Everything is so legato under her masterful baton

Retarding to a stately pace when it was time to rest

The angels give her a standing ovation in her dreams
