Blurb: A new generation. An unbreakable bond. A final adventure. It’s been nearly eighteen years since Princess Adalina went in search of the Nihryst to break the curse set upon them by her ancestors. The stars foretold the fate of her family and the group of immortals, but there was more to the story. When her daughter Elinore is kidnapped by a witch, the realm is in an uproar. And none feel as guilty for her disappearance as Prince Kal, her cousin and best friend. He’ll do whatever he must to save Elin, including sneaking off with a ship full of rebels and working with a mysterious, intriguing woman who makes him question everything… like the arranged marriage he’d been planning to a faraway queen he only knows through letters. The young queen who’s fighting for her crown and needs his alliance. With the clock ticking down, decisions must be made. Friendships and relationships are put to the ultimate test, and making one wrong move could have catastrophic consequences. ~~~

This collection includes The Missing Crown, The Missing Legacy, and the short stories from The Lost Dreams. With pirates, thieves, witches, and rebels, these new characters carry out adventures worthy of those who came before them!

New Release!

Eighteen years ago, the heroes of the Great War outlawed magic to protect their people. Or so they claimed. The kingdom of Tulansia still lies in ruin, and now, their past is coming back to haunt them. Charles Lamden, former hero named traitor, is finally ready for vengeance, and it starts by leading a violent rebel faction in an invasion on the castle to take the royal family hostage. Only Princess Emmalyn manages to flee with the help of her best friend. The two find shelter in a hidden mountain village, where Emma quickly realizes that everything she knows of the world is a lie. Her best friend, the boy she’s loved her whole life, is one of her secret guards—a group created by her father, sworn to protect her above all others. Those with magic aren’t the dangerous people she was always taught to fear, and they might be her only hope in rescuing her family. And her parents? They’re behind so much of the deceit. Because there’s a bigger reason the rebels took the royals hostage, and Emma’s at the very center of it.

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Here’s our book recommendations. We try to get it done every Saturday but we are busy so we have missed a few.

  1. An Old family curse, a destined romance, and why not let’s throw in a bit of hopelessness…this next one has it all. If You Don’t Love Me We Both Die By CM Stunich looks like it will be a worthwhile read.
  2. Ever heard a title that made you laugh enough to look closer? This one seems to be attached to an interesting little adventure. Beer for my Corpses by CM Maguire is a misplaced adventures novel with a humorous name. It seems to have undead, loan sharks and so much more…
  3. One Day Can truly change everything. Oh boy. this one is personally hitting spots. It deals with suicide, but it seems to handle it right. It asks the question that has plagued so many of us…If you have only been invisible what happens when you are finally seen? That Day by Skye Turner has trigger warnings in the blurb, but I think it may be worth reading.
  4. Hannah and Other Stories By Rami Ungar is seven horror stories. It looks like it might be a good collection. The blurb listed several things that could be found in the stories…and it seems well rounded.
  5. The last one is book three in a series…Primal by Emery LeeAnn based on the recommendation this one is dark and creepy….

Now Though I have listed the Five…I have an extra one this time…. MaryJanice Davidson’s Road Queens. The reason is because she is donating the proceeds from it for a DV charity. I can’t help but see the idea of an author doing stuff like that as a extra reason to promote an already good thing.

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Here’s our book recommendations. We try to get it done every Saturday but we are busy so we have missed a few.

  1. Nickel City by N. Sullivan Mystery, Centuries old cult, Murder…sounds like Buffalo, NY just got interesting…
  2. Conspiracy theories, Psych wards, Murder…Leah seems caught up in all of it…and we cannot help but follow along in One for Sorrow by Sarah A Denzil
  3. Ohhhh A Short Sexy Queer Romance…With Wolfmen? okay this next one – The Wolfman of Notting Hollow by CB Cheliah looks fun.
  4. And along that same line we have Texas Blood: The Fox and The Wulff by L.D. Wosar. Their books have all been great so far. Let’s see what they do with This one.
  5. The last one this week is book 2 in a series, but it has a lot of appeal. There seems to be a good bit of world building and character development. Burden of Faete by Ligia De Wit looks like it might be a book to lose yourself in.

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Here’s our book recommendations. We try to get it done every Saturday but we are busy so we have missed a few.

  1. The tagline for this first book speaks to me so much. Life is hard. It’s even harder when you feel invisible. To Be Continued By Skye Turner Looks like it might be just the thing when you are feeling your most alone.
  2. Well, considering we are going into March…I think a book with a luck theme might be just the thing. Lucky in love by Krysta Fox feels like a good seasonal read.
  3. Who doesn’t like a good classical greek mythology style story? The Twelve trials of Doug by Jeremy Brundage seems like it has something for everyone.
  4. This next one is book four in the series but it looks interesting. It has dragons, dark elves, and adventure. Slayter and the Dragon: Legacy of Shadows by Todd Fahnestock checks so many of the boxes for a good read.
  5. Looking for a spy novel? Want it to be onboard ship? Then Depths of Steel by Warren Larch is probably for you.

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Here’s our book recommendations. We try to get it done every Saturday but we are busy so we have missed a few.

  1. Gail R. Delaney is often an amazing author. So, when we found out that there was a space opera written by them…It warranted a closer look. Revolution is definitely one for the tbr.
  2. The next one is the fourth book in the series…but it looks really good. Our own Jennifer Elliott recommended this one to me. Cap by Annaliese Reynolds and Quinn Ryder has an interesting idea to catch the mind on.
  3. So, the next couple have teasers in the links. I am intrigued by what I read so I shared both of these. the first of these is book 3 of a series. Twins by Kelly Lynn Colby
  4. The second one is also written by a friend of ours. He has been recommended by us in the past… Friends in High Places by Rob Smales
  5. And the last one also has a teaser. it really is an interesting idea. Beta by MT Zimmy

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. If I keep doing this I will have to adjust the description for the post…This is the first book for Tish MacWebber – From Where I am Sitting: A Collection of Cat Tales I recently recommended her newest book Drop the Red Pen and this one came up in discussion so I had to list it too.
  2. I just love books set in the Appalachian Mountains. Tooth and Nail By Jessica Raney has the look of a good read in a great setting.
  3. Okay I was recommended one that I am interested in mostly because it seems to cover several genres all at once. Rescue (City of Kaus Book 3) by Dani Hoots  Kinda makes me want to look into the others in the series…
  4. The Boy With The Glow: Book Two Enhanced Being Series by Melissa Algood  Has an interesting premise. I wonder if it is as good as it sounds?
  5. This last one is a collection of tales. Tales of the Doomed: Fourteen tales of suffering and death by Len M. Ruth  Seems like it might have more than one thing to grab the mind.

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. okay, I know I said that I was going to recommend new or newish releases…but I really need to talk about this one. Memory bound by A.R. Clayton We published a children’s book not too long ago. The writing style is amazing and makes me want everything that the author has written.
  2. LD Wosar just released Peacock’s Lament. It really does look so good.
  3. Want an occult noir read? Idaho black by Warren G. Larch looks to fit the bill.
  4. Need more adventures in your tbr? Wrong Way to Heaven by Kevin Pettway seems to offer misplaced adventures. that sounds fun to me.
  5. Lately, there’s been terms that I have been seeing in the reading and writing world that might be confusing to the ones that don’t read that genre. this includes Why chose. why chose is in the same vein as romance – with a polyamory twist. Here’s a good one – Beauty’s Beasts by Alex Hansonhttps://a.co/d/fTyYG2E
