So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Here’s our book recommendations. We try to get it done every Saturday but we are busy so we have missed a few.
Gail R. Delaney is often an amazing author. So, when we found out that there was a space opera written by them…It warranted a closer look. Revolution is definitely one for the tbr.
The next one is the fourth book in the series…but it looks really good. Our own Jennifer Elliott recommended this one to me. Cap by Annaliese Reynolds and Quinn Ryder has an interesting idea to catch the mind on.
So, the next couple have teasers in the links. I am intrigued by what I read so I shared both of these. the first of these is book 3 of a series. Twins by Kelly Lynn Colby
So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.
I just love books set in the Appalachian Mountains. Tooth and Nail By Jessica Raney has the look of a good read in a great setting.
Okay I was recommended one that I am interested in mostly because it seems to cover several genres all at once. Rescue (City of Kaus Book 3) by Dani Hoots Kinda makes me want to look into the others in the series…

okay, I know I said that I was going to recommend new or newish releases…but I really need to talk about this one. Memory bound by A.R. Clayton We published a children’s book not too long ago. The writing style is amazing and makes me want everything that the author has written.
LD Wosar just released Peacock’s Lament. It really does look so good.
Lately, there’s been terms that I have been seeing in the reading and writing world that might be confusing to the ones that don’t read that genre. this includes Why chose. why chose is in the same vein as romance – with a polyamory twist. Here’s a good one – Beauty’s Beasts by Alex Hansonhttps://a.co/d/fTyYG2E
Check back next week for more TBR recommendations.
Secret Guard, a new YA dystopian fantasy by @c8_marie, is releasing on Kindle Vella in the spring of 2024, and I’ve got a first look at the cover and blurb! For updates and notifications about Cait’s releases, make sure to follow her! . . BLURB Eighteen years ago, the heroes of the Great War outlawed magic to protect their people. Or so they claimed. The kingdom of Tulansia still lies in ruin, and now, their past is coming back to haunt them. Charles Lamden, former hero named traitor, is finally ready for vengeance, and it starts by leading a violent rebel faction in an invasion on the castle to take the royal family hostage. Only Princess Emmalyn manages to flee with the help of her best friend. The two find shelter in a hidden mountain village, where Emma quickly realizes that everything she knows of the world is a lie. Her best friend, the boy she’s loved her whole life, is one of her secret guards—a group created by her father, sworn to protect her above all others. Those with magic aren’t the dangerous people she was always taught to fear, and they might be her only hope in rescuing her family. And her parents? They’re behind so much of the deceit. Because there’s a bigger reason the rebels took the royals hostage, and Emma’s at the very center of it. . . . #coverreveal #secretguard #riseoftheloti #caitmarie #yafantasy #yadystopian #dystopianfantasy #yabooks #fantasybooks #romantasy #fantasyromancebooks #bookrecs #newbooks #mustread #booksta #bookstagram #booksbooksbooks

The first one this week is a spicy Christmas book by Skye Turner. Crazy for Christmas has everything you would expect from a Holiday story and then some. It definitely makes our TBR.
The last one this time is a graphic novel that looks fairly interesting. Enenra by Aaron Wroblewski seems to have that whole horror vibe going on that catches the mind.

The first on the list is a poetry list with guided journal aspects. The Poet is such a down to earth and natural person that I am honestly looking forward to reading her words. CHRONOS TO KAIROS By Jamela T. Brown Looks like it will be worth the read.
The next one is a Christian children’s book, We were recommended it because it was a touching story about a family member. It looks like it might be a good story. Joe Bob Has something to say by Glenda H. Fisher definitely makes our list.
Though I promised that our Saturday and Sunday posts would continue this weekend, our lead faery got sick. That has made it more difficult to get the posts done. Please bear with us one more week.

The last few weeks have been getting me a lot of recommendations for Halloween titles. This one looks like it might be one that would make crawling under the covers fun. Old Dark Houses By Tylor James Seems like a Halloween novel worth reading anytime.
Urban Fantasy Romance. Smokey, sexy and fun. All seem to apply to Ember Holt’s books. So how could I not put her book The Chimera Bounty on my tbr?
I adore Cait Marie’s Books. That being said each of her series have such a different feel to them. If you haven’t read Making the Play I highly recommend it.
Another Author that we cannot get enough of is Skye Turner. Her That Day looks like one to pick up!
