Just a quick stop by…Fae Corps faeries are quite busy with trying to get books published and such. We have two new anthologies out Seeking stories and Grandmother’s Wisdom and we are about to release Serena Mossgraves’s Poetry Death Becomes Her. We are working on getting the preorder ready for Andrew McDowell’s Mystical Greenwood (link coming soon) and A poetry volume for the poet Nk.
We have several other indie authors coming up. We have a couple of Meet the author posts that are needing to be posted. (I am hoping to get at least one this week) The call for the next anthology is out. (deadline is August 1st)
So keep your eyes peeled. This blog is over the next few months going to be popping with news and updates on upcoming books. Our Party Room group on Fb is also going to be getting busy with celebrating the new releases.

This is about the wisdom of Grandmothers. The stories and art of several remarkable women. These are their memories from their grandchildren.
Memories of:
Ethel Endicott Terrell, Louisa Miller Goldschmidt, Maxine Woosley, Rhoda Ellison, Beverly Jean Katz, Ruby Pass, and Vera Craig Snow as told by their grandchildren.
A portion of this book’s proceeds will be donated to charity. We at Fae Corps have decided to donate half of the author royalties (The monies we receive from the sales of this book.) to No Kid Hungry. We feel like their cause is worthy and that the grandmothers from this book would have approved of.

Good morning! Apologies for the delay as this was meant to be put out last night.
This morning, I’m bringing to you a sneak peak of our cover reveal coming next Friday, February 18th, 2022, for our upcoming Anthology, Seeking Stories!

Stay Tuned for more information!

We do roughly three anthologies a year. We do a monthly newsletter.
Anthologies –
A typeface for all submissions…Either Times New Roman, Arial, or Ubuntu. Something easy to read. No really weird formatting please. at least 12 pt font.
Stories – The paid versions are limited in the slots, but we are looking for between 3k and 6k word count on the stories. The word count is not a fixed thing…if your story is 2880 words…send it. If your story is 6500-word count, send it. We will help you to get it where it needs to be. The unpaid anthologies have similar requirements without limitations.
Poetry – This is where we limit the amount. Sending in huge amounts of poetry makes it difficult for us to sort through the submissions. We ask that you limit it to 5 per entry. This gives us a reasonable ability to choose the best work that is sent to us. We do not limit form or style. We do ask that the poem be able to fit on a single page.
Art – Printing does usually end up with the pictures going to grayscale. Ebooks will have the picture in color. 300dpi is required for publication. We again ask that you limit yourself to 5 submissions of this variety to each anthology. We appreciate the talent in your work but it makes it harder on us to put together a showcase of indie talent.
Newsletter-
Much of the newsletter is the same as the anthologies. The only real difference is that the newsletter goes out monthly. At the end of each year, we choose from the newsletter to release a yearly best-of anthology.
When you submit – Your submission should either be an attachment or a google docs link. It should come with a short bio written in 3rd person. Include a picture for the about the author area – either a picture of you or a logo or something similar. Make sure there is at least one link where you can be found in your bio.
