Kid’s Week!!

Hello, Welcome again to our kid’s week.

This week will see a few new types of post. This is going to be a yearly thing. Last few years were too new to get the blog involved. This year we are a little more organized.

Promo posts for older books that we already have out. These books are wonderful gifts for the young readers and we feel that they deserve the spotlight every year.
About the author posts for all of the children’s book authors we have published. This is going to be from both current offerings as well as previous kid’s week offerings.
Book Readings of some of our Kid’s Books. I don’t know that we are going to do more than one of this type per year…but It is going to be included in the blog posts every year from now on.
Obviously Book Birthday posts for the New Book offerings. We always offer at least One New Kids week book. This year we have two. Some years we have more. There is a Book Birthday post for each book.
Other Fun activity posts as we see fit to add for the kids. This might be art how to posts. or word finds. or such as that, It is meant for the kiddos to have fun.

So I hope you will check back throughout the week to see what fun adventures We fae have cooked up for Kid’s Week.

The first kids week cover reveal

As most of you know we do a whole week of promotion for our children’s titles. We release new ones and showcase the older ones for the first week of December. This is the first one that we have the cover (and the link) for. It’s a Middle Grade book from the imagination of Michelle Caines. It’s adorable and a fun read. Isn’t that cover absolutely amazing? Release date is December 4th!

Open submissions

We are looking for children’s books.

We will be publishing 7 new ones the first week in December for kids week. The deadline is August 15th to be considered for this year’s kids week.

Email your submission to fcpsubmissions@gmail.com as a attachment. Make a note in the subject as to what age range you are writing for. Note in the email as to whether you need an illustrator for the book or if you have one planned. (That is need to know information)

A TBR Addition

An indie author we know of published a children’s book recently. We at Fae Corps Love Indie Published books and the Authors that write them.

Story Synopsis: On a warm, sunny day in August, Jasmine and her Dad pack the van for a road trip to the World’s Largest Yard Sale in Hamburg, New York, to sell her used books, clothes, and toys to raise money for Grandma’s church. On the way to pick up Grandma for the event, the city turns dark, and it begins to rain. Jasmine and her Dad travel through a rainstorm and get trapped in an eerie and mystical town.
