Meet the Author Serena Mossgraves

Serena Mossgraves swore that she would be in EVERY anthology put out by Fae Corps Inc. And she might have succeeded except for the fact that we split the submissions for Nightmare Whispers into 3 volumes. As it is she is in two of them because she couldn’t decide between the two stories which to submit.

Serena Mossgraves is a twisted faery with the urge to scare the unwitting reader. Her dark tales of nightmares excite the unwary. She has been seen prowling around looking for new tales to twist and share.
She is an avid reader who has always enjoyed the more Gothic settings.

A Friday poem sent to us

Panics of terror coursing through my veins
Not knowing fake from the real
Who would take the blame
Running to and fro
I’m at a loss of words
This person in the mirror before me
Man this is absurd.
My body form I don’t notice
Now all muscular

I have been transformed into something else
Like I’ve been reborn.
My wings are now ablaze this is something new
I’m normally not fearful but if you saw me
You’d want to run too.
Asleep I was a fairy dreaming of the moon
And the clouds above
Then the dream turned dark and dread
Like the sandman went all rogue
My skin felt like lava
Intriguing to myself
Now able to creep on fours
And walk on twos
What is this form? I’m amused
Eyes glint gold
I’m feeling bold
Stories will be told
They may call the fairy paddy wagon..
The whispers and stares
As they notice that overnight
This mere fairy was transformed into…
A dragon.©️

Meet the Author Edward Ahern

Ed Ahern resumed writing after forty odd years in foreign intelligence and international sales. He’s had over two hundred fifty stories and poems published so far, and six books. Meet the Author Walid Abdallah

Walid Abdallah is an Egyptian poet and author. He is a visiting professor of English language and literature in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Germany and the USA, his poetry includes “Go Ye Moon”, ” Dream” and “My heart still beats” And has several translated poems which won prestigious prizes in the USA like “Cause”, “Egypt’s Grief”, and “Strangers’ Cross”, his books include Shout of Silence, Escape to the Realm of Imagination, and Man Domination and Woman Emancipation.

Meet the Author Deedra Nichole

Deedra Nichole has been one of our authors since the beginning. She was in Under the Mists, Faery Footprints, Through the Sunshine, and now she is in Nightmare Whispers Volume One The Darkness Within, and Fae Dreams. We are working on a book release for her (We were supposed to release it this year, but a beautiful surprise baby delayed things.) We will be announcing that soon. In the meantime we are delighted to have her return to us.

Meet the Author Kari Leigh Sanders

Kari is a writer and editor with a taste for Dark Fiction, Horror, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Historical Fiction. Growing up in Narnia, Middle Earth, Wonderland, and Oz, she also dove into some of the darker worlds provided by King, Barker, Koontz, Lovecraft, and Gaiman, and then meandered over to Pratchett and the Discworld. She likes to explore other people’s worlds and is currently creating a few of her own. When visiting this world she is most likely to be found petting all of the purrs out of her cats while watching horror movies.

Vonnie Winslow Crist is in Nightmare Whispers Volume one The Darkness Within and Fae Dreams. We are also working with her for a project coming out in spring. We are so glad that She chose to work with us.

Meet the Poet Brittany Sabatino

Brittany is an Italian-American a poet living in the Washington, DC area. She has also been published by Thirteen Myna Birds, Scarlet Leaf Review, Dyst Literary Journal and is a contributor in a Spilled Ink poetry anthology. Right now, she is working on a poetry manuscript and trying not to spend all her money on books. We are so glad she decided to join us in our dreams.
