We Will Not Be Silenced – John W. Leys

I will not be silent. I will not be afraid. I will not sacrifice myself again, I will not turn the other cheek. I will speak the truth —not my truth, the truth— Not all things are subjective, Not all causes are just. I do not want to fight, But I swear on my sword […]

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. This first one just dropped the preorder and the cover and blurb caught my attention. Princess of the Pomegranate moon By Emily Wynne Looks like it might be a fun read.
  2. The last few weeks have been getting me a lot of recommendations for Halloween titles. This one looks like it might be one that would make crawling under the covers fun. Old Dark Houses By Tylor James Seems like a Halloween novel worth reading anytime.
  3. Urban Fantasy Romance. Smokey, sexy and fun. All seem to apply to Ember Holt’s books. So how could I not put her book The Chimera Bounty on my tbr?
  4. I adore Cait Marie’s Books. That being said each of her series have such a different feel to them. If you haven’t read Making the Play I highly recommend it.
  5. Another Author that we cannot get enough of is Skye Turner. Her That Day looks like one to pick up!

Check back next Saturday for another five books.

Her black onyx eyes were always rimmed red from crying? steam in the kitchen? sewing in poor light? I never knew, perhaps I didn’t know how to ask I knew her heart was sad even as her face smiled the lines carved into her skin like crosshatching she’d lost her girlhood to a man who […]
