You wake up and find yourself in a strange place. You are fairly sure you were home yesterday, but now your head hurts. There’s a low hum coming from somewhere near…
Our submissions for the new anthology were amazing. So we decided to split it. We will share the link when we get it made…(preorders coming soon.) Come back next week to see these awesome covers.
I have been considering ways to get more content on the blog… much of this blog is automatic and not really something that is “fun” at least for me to post. I aim to change it with the new one. This is going to be a day for prompts. Sometimes it will be a story prompt, sometimes a poetry prompt, and occasionally I will be posting it as an art prompt. That being said…these are to encourage creativity. If you see a better idea in the prompt for a different medium than the one that I have presented… please use it. Create! And if you choose to share your creative endeavors we will be glad to post it here on the blog.
Today the post is for Art
Draw a mushroom scene. a place for the unseelie fae to play. Is there any water? Stalactites? Stalagmites? Is there any Fae in your scene? Is your art in color?
We will be publishing 7 new ones the first week in December for kids week. The deadline is August 15th to be considered for this year’s kids week.
Email your submission to fcpsubmissions@gmail.com as a attachment. Make a note in the subject as to what age range you are writing for. Note in the email as to whether you need an illustrator for the book or if you have one planned. (That is need to know information)
We look forward to seeing what you have for us to read!
This time we are looking for offbeat different romance stories. We want the romance to be perhaps written in a different genre…For example maybe a horror romance or a supernatural based one. We want more that the typical romance. But there should be a definite romance quality to the submission. We would like to see a good blend and the non- typical feel to the story. Poetry should be darker with an element of romance but perhaps a twist to call attention to it. All genres are welcome, as long as they follow the theme.

Editing is provided. If your story/poetry is in draft form it is still acceptable, however, it must be readable.
