Calling All Children’s Book authors

We are looking for 6 children’s books for our kid’s week 2024. We are now until August of 2024 open for submissions of books up to middle grade. Send manuscript whether illustrated or not to Fcpsubmission@gmail.com with a subject of Kid’s Week Submission. We will select the best 6 for publication.

Young adult novel submissions will be accepted – but they would be taken on their own merits…not considered for Kid’s Week.

What is the Holidays for you?

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. The first on the list is a poetry list with guided journal aspects. The Poet is such a down to earth and natural person that I am honestly looking forward to reading her words. CHRONOS TO KAIROS By Jamela T. Brown Looks like it will be worth the read.
  2. The next one is a Christian children’s book, We were recommended it because it was a touching story about a family member. It looks like it might be a good story. Joe Bob Has something to say by Glenda H. Fisher definitely makes our list.
  3. A touching story about found family, The Family Tree That Grew From Me By Chianne Franklin looks like a heartwarming addition to the tbr for the holiday season.
  4. For those looking for Romance during the holidays the next two will fill that bill. Our first suggestion – Christmas at Crockett Cove Inn by Celosia Crane is a cozy and fun story.
  5. The Last one is an Anthology. An Earl for Christmas has three different authors with three great stories. Each one a great gift for the holiday.

Check back next week for more TBR recommendations.

Kid’s Week About the Author

One of our Authors last year was AR Clayton

A.R. Clayton is an American writer who independently published her first horror novel Memory Bound in October 2018. The author likes to tell stories with uncomfortable truths society would rather hide, tucked behind bolted doors and heavy curtains thick with dust. She also enjoys writing scenes with gloomy weather and figures appearing mysteriously in windows. She is currently looking for an agent for her second horror novel.

The author lives with her husband the Saint, her dog Ru who insists on featuring in each novel, and their indoor garden of nearly fifty houseplants. Together, they enjoy rainy days, classical music, and art. The author also does not oppose the occasional taco, or three.

The author can be found at www.peregrinearc.com.

The Mermaid and the Yellow Mermaid can be Found Here.
