Ok. Our amazing marketing manager did some great images to introduce you to the authors. Both of the authors today took the image and adjusted it. This first fellow had some humor and extended the edit.
Charles Kelley has quite a list of published work. He has been such a delight to have working with us on this project. Especially when his humor shows through. 😉
Another one of the wonderful multiple volume authors, Arianna Sebo is a poet who has contributed to Fae Dreams and Nightmare Whispers. This is our first time working with the lovely poet Arianna Sebo. We hope to have the opportunity again.
K. T. Seto is our newest member, and an amazing author. She is in Nightmare Whispers volumes one and three. She was in our last anthology Through the Sunshine as well. Her two stories are both great scares.
K.T. Seto wallows in what if. She writes Speculative Fiction with a paranormal bent that ranges from paranormal and fantasy, to science fiction and all things in between.
Look for news of her work on social media @KatAboutThat on Instagram, @kat_about on Twitter and K.T. Seto-Author on Facebook. Or just go to her website ktseto.com
We asked her several questions. Her answers were both Fun and enlightening.
How long have you been a Creative? I call myself a renaissance curvmugeon. I have been creating all my life and focused on becoming a published author for the past 3 years.
Why did you choose to be an Indie Author? Because the market has changed and the only way to be seen in a crowded field is to prove you can do it yourself first.
Has any of your work been published/shown or do you have a website? If so, where? Currently have stories published online in Write of Passion Literary Journal, Dragon’s Within- Claiming her Wings (available on Amazon and a few other places including the publisher’s website- Balance of Seven) *Editor’s note – She is also one of our authors from Through the Sunshine and has Submitted a story for Nightmare Whispers.
What do you do for fun? Hobbies? I paint in oils and sculpt in wire, bake, I read everything and crochet.
What or who got you started? I can’t remember when I started creating. I come from a family of creators. But Debbie at Sacred Rebels convinced me to try and put my work into the world.
Have you ever suffered with writer’s block? If so how do you deal with it? Often. I manage by immersing myself in something different until I get itchy to write again.
Do you have family or pets you want to share with us? I am a mother and grandmother
We look forward to seeing more from this talented and wonderful author.
Meet Children’s author, poet, and General Creative Christine Bialczak.

Christine also has support from David, from her other family members, from past and current coworkers/teachers, and from friends. Her goal is to introduce characters that enrich children’s lives and ignite a fire to learn more, increase knowledge of the world around, and be creative. Christine is an animal lover. She has owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, cockatiels, chickens, roosters, and tropical fish. She loves to travel and learn about other cultures, sews, draws, designs jewelry, cooks, and has many other interests. The Penelope series was inspired by the birth of her great-niece Penelope, having written the first book on the night Penelope was born. The Joey series was inspired by her son who was so brilliant, so kind, and such a special person to everyone that knew him. Christine can’t wait to interact with her readers through various series, poetry, and other publications.
Ok, I was lapse this week. Cyndi usually does other things and leaves the blog up to me…My notes are a mess and she couldn’t do the author spotlight for me. I was not well and ended up being unable to give either blog the attention it needed. I apologize and have decided to try to do some posts ahead so that these go up when they are supposed to, whether I feel good or not.
So here is the schedule for the author spotlights and such: On August 20 We will be featuring Christine Bialczak. On August 27 we will feature K.T. Seto (who was in Through the Sunshine but I am not finding on the blog…probably me being absent minded.) On September 3 We will feature Melissa Ball On September 10 we will be taking a short break from the author spotlights to announce the authors in the two anthologies that we are currently taking submissions for. The deadline is August 31 so the tenth gives us time to sort the incoming submissions to determine who will be in the anthologies.
We will be returning to the author spotlights after that, as I have 3 more on my list (Susan Eaton, Janean McBreaty, & George Latimer). However, I also will be doing author spotlights for the authors in Fae Dreams and Nightmare Whispers.
If you are interested in being featured here then fill out the questionnaire and I will slip you into the queue. Also, remember the deadline for Fae Dreams and Nightmare Whispers is fast approaching. We are rather pleased with the submissions received so far.
