Motivational Monday

Image by Becca Clark from Pixabay with text added by Azlyn Fae.

Hey, y’all, it’s been quite some time! Azlyn Fae here back in the saddle, and stupidly a little late today because hey, it’s Monday! It’s May 1st, it’s spring! Life has been CHAOTIC for me over the last year, there have been some emotional rollercoasters all around and my life got flipped upside down, shaken, and then set upright with little time to adjust. But I am back! And here to take over the blog again as directed! So…

Its another week, another Monday!

So tell us, what’s on your desk to get done this week? Let’s boost and motivate each other!

Somedays the Poet Becomes the Poem…

Those of us who write understand that the poet always ends up the poem, but I think this one is quite lovely, and inspired. If you have not already gotten Jennifer’s book…it releases Next week,

Jennifer Elliott’s Been Busy

She has been keeping up with the Fae Corps Publishing PAD Challenge and as you can see she has been creating beauty. Her poetry is so good.

Her Favorite Flower was Death

Today we received two different views of the prompt. Both are so wonderful. The Pad Challenge is all about encouragement of creativity. That is why we do it twice a year. To encourage the wonderful art we see come from it!

Finding Me by Jennifer Elliott

I felt so lost
I have tried every business my friends have
I feel like I tried all the things
Each thing by all the mentors
Every suggestion
I have gotten nowhere
I found I needed to step back
Some things have changed
I love my kids
I love learning about what they love
I love my husband and finding out about his games
To learn their lore with him
The one constant is my loven of books
Of reading
Josh helped me find the world again
But in a new way
I still am a green and purple faery
I can still be a part of that world
I can now see my name i print
I joined the Corps
See my wings shine bright

Book Birthday!

Ethereal Dreams by Patricia Harris releases today. It is a volume of poetry with a almost emphyreally disconnected feel. Do you own a copy yet?
