Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. The first one this week is a spicy Christmas book by Skye Turner. Crazy for Christmas has everything you would expect from a Holiday story and then some. It definitely makes our TBR.
  2. As a fan of TTRPG’s I am curious about One More Turn By D.H. Dunn. This looks like a fun read,
  3. This one has not released yet, but I am eagerly awaiting it…Wings of Ink by Angelina J. Steffort Looks Fantastic! February can’t come quick enough!
  4. Who can’t use a new vampire love in their life? Peacock’s Lament by L.D. Wosar looks like it might just do the trick.
  5. The last one this time is a graphic novel that looks fairly interesting. Enenra by Aaron Wroblewski seems to have that whole horror vibe going on that catches the mind.

Check back next week for more TBR recommendations.

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. The first on the list is a poetry list with guided journal aspects. The Poet is such a down to earth and natural person that I am honestly looking forward to reading her words. CHRONOS TO KAIROS By Jamela T. Brown Looks like it will be worth the read.
  2. The next one is a Christian children’s book, We were recommended it because it was a touching story about a family member. It looks like it might be a good story. Joe Bob Has something to say by Glenda H. Fisher definitely makes our list.
  3. A touching story about found family, The Family Tree That Grew From Me By Chianne Franklin looks like a heartwarming addition to the tbr for the holiday season.
  4. For those looking for Romance during the holidays the next two will fill that bill. Our first suggestion – Christmas at Crockett Cove Inn by Celosia Crane is a cozy and fun story.
  5. The Last one is an Anthology. An Earl for Christmas has three different authors with three great stories. Each one a great gift for the holiday.

Check back next week for more TBR recommendations.

Kid’s Week About the Author

One of our Authors last year was AR Clayton

A.R. Clayton is an American writer who independently published her first horror novel Memory Bound in October 2018. The author likes to tell stories with uncomfortable truths society would rather hide, tucked behind bolted doors and heavy curtains thick with dust. She also enjoys writing scenes with gloomy weather and figures appearing mysteriously in windows. She is currently looking for an agent for her second horror novel.

The author lives with her husband the Saint, her dog Ru who insists on featuring in each novel, and their indoor garden of nearly fifty houseplants. Together, they enjoy rainy days, classical music, and art. The author also does not oppose the occasional taco, or three.

The author can be found at www.peregrinearc.com.

The Mermaid and the Yellow Mermaid can be Found Here.

Kid’s Week About the Author

One of Our Most prolific Kid’s Authors is Patricia Harris

Patricia Harris is a dreamer, crafter, gamer, and digital artist who loves creativity in life. A half-mad poet, her writing is found all over social media and various other websites. She is a devoted mom who can be found doing a variety of art when she isn’t penning poetry and writing words. She is owner of the indie publishing company Fae Corps publishing. Her collection of writings includes two memoirs, a book on writing, several children’s books, and poetry.

For more from Patricia, check out www.Facebook.com/mouseypoet or pattimouse.wordpress.com Her books are all listed on www.books2read.com/rl/PatriciaHarris

Her newest Kid’s Book- Grandma is releasing this week.

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. This first one just dropped the preorder and the cover and blurb caught my attention. Princess of the Pomegranate moon By Emily Wynne Looks like it might be a fun read.
  2. The last few weeks have been getting me a lot of recommendations for Halloween titles. This one looks like it might be one that would make crawling under the covers fun. Old Dark Houses By Tylor James Seems like a Halloween novel worth reading anytime.
  3. Urban Fantasy Romance. Smokey, sexy and fun. All seem to apply to Ember Holt’s books. So how could I not put her book The Chimera Bounty on my tbr?
  4. I adore Cait Marie’s Books. That being said each of her series have such a different feel to them. If you haven’t read Making the Play I highly recommend it.
  5. Another Author that we cannot get enough of is Skye Turner. Her That Day looks like one to pick up!

Check back next Saturday for another five books.

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. This first one is book 2 in a series, but it is the one that caught my eye. I saw a neat book trailer for Peacock’s Lament by L.D. Wosar on Facebook and have wanted to read it ever since.
  2. The second one is a collection of tales by one author. Inflicted by Leo Otherland looks interesting. I am often into the idea of several stories on the same topic.
  3. Again, I caught a recommendation from a friend for a book and it is book 2 in a series…Becoming James Black by Skye Turner looks like it might be a good one to curl up in a warm spot with.
  4. Looking for a classic read? Lucky’s Girl by William Holloway seems to be classic horror. Yes, please.
  5. And last but not least another book from our friend from Owl Light – Rob Smales. His book Friends in High Places has an good premise that makes me want to read more.

Check back next Saturday for another five books.
