Kids Week – Day Two

Come along on a fun adventure through the Forest of Dreams in this second book in The Woodland Adventures series. Join Nita and Meeko as they find out a way to help their friends handle a bunch of bullying bees and hungry spiders in order to be able to get to the big field of flowers. This book reaches out to children ages 6-8 and while letting them enjoy a wonderful story of animals having an adventure, it also teaches them how to deal with bullies without fighting back in a violent way.

This is the tale of Keko the monkey, how she ‘lost’ her bananas, and then found them with the help of a friend and a trail of peels. This book, while fun and playful, also shows that you can solve many problems with the help of others , you don’t always have to be angry with the person that caused the problem, and that you should forgive the small things.

The first kids week cover reveal

As most of you know we do a whole week of promotion for our children’s titles. We release new ones and showcase the older ones for the first week of December. This is the first one that we have the cover (and the link) for. It’s a Middle Grade book from the imagination of Michelle Caines. It’s adorable and a fun read. Isn’t that cover absolutely amazing? Release date is December 4th!

Open submissions

We are looking for children’s books.

We will be publishing 7 new ones the first week in December for kids week. The deadline is August 15th to be considered for this year’s kids week.

Email your submission to fcpsubmissions@gmail.com as a attachment. Make a note in the subject as to what age range you are writing for. Note in the email as to whether you need an illustrator for the book or if you have one planned. (That is need to know information)

Story Synopsis: On a warm, sunny day in August, Jasmine and her Dad pack the van for a road trip to the World’s Largest Yard Sale in Hamburg, New York, to sell her used books, clothes, and toys to raise money for Grandma’s church.
