Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. This first one just dropped the preorder and the cover and blurb caught my attention. Princess of the Pomegranate moon By Emily Wynne Looks like it might be a fun read.
  2. The last few weeks have been getting me a lot of recommendations for Halloween titles. This one looks like it might be one that would make crawling under the covers fun. Old Dark Houses By Tylor James Seems like a Halloween novel worth reading anytime.
  3. Urban Fantasy Romance. Smokey, sexy and fun. All seem to apply to Ember Holt’s books. So how could I not put her book The Chimera Bounty on my tbr?
  4. I adore Cait Marie’s Books. That being said each of her series have such a different feel to them. If you haven’t read Making the Play I highly recommend it.
  5. Another Author that we cannot get enough of is Skye Turner. Her That Day looks like one to pick up!

Check back next Saturday for another five books.

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. This first one is book 2 in a series, but it is the one that caught my eye. I saw a neat book trailer for Peacock’s Lament by L.D. Wosar on Facebook and have wanted to read it ever since.
  2. The second one is a collection of tales by one author. Inflicted by Leo Otherland looks interesting. I am often into the idea of several stories on the same topic.
  3. Again, I caught a recommendation from a friend for a book and it is book 2 in a series…Becoming James Black by Skye Turner looks like it might be a good one to curl up in a warm spot with.
  4. Looking for a classic read? Lucky’s Girl by William Holloway seems to be classic horror. Yes, please.
  5. And last but not least another book from our friend from Owl Light – Rob Smales. His book Friends in High Places has an good premise that makes me want to read more.

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. Let us start with another poetry Volume. Wave of Flowers By Janeen G. I have read a few of her poems and she has quite the pen. I highly recommend her work.
  2. The next one lists itself as a Christian romance…but the author is one that I believe to be worth following. The premise is solid, the author is talented. I honestly want to read Sister Lost By Heather Hancock
  3. Okay, with the tagline of Deals made with demons are not easily broken. This next one stacks up to be an interesting horror novel. Sins of the Father by Gareth Rees seems to scare its way onto most any tbr.
  4. This next one has the making of a good mystery. A Good Running Away by Kevin Pettway seems to have it all…mercenaries, murder, and all of the makings of what mystery should have.
  5. and last but not least…let us look at Natural Disaster by Alena Orrison Can the main character handle her grief and learn to use her powers before it is too late?

  1. This one steams the list…Ember holt Brutal Rival: A Standalone Dark Fantasy Romance (The Princesses of Ruin Book 1) It looks like it might be a really good romance addiction.
  2. The Next one is Book five in the series. I have read the rest…this one looks amazing too. The Missing Legacy By Cait Marie. I just don’t think you can go wrong with anything from this author.
  3. A supernatural force pulls Casey, a homeless alcoholic, to an abandoned Connecticut mill…The Pull (The Demons Within) By Len M Ruth Okay the tagline is creepy af…I gotta read it now.
  4. Oooo Beauty’s Beasts: A why choose Beauty and the Beast retelling (Primordial Gates) By Alex Hanson. Queer representation in a faery tale retelling. Please? The sheer magic of the idea has me.
  5. One of our Friends is the Owl Light Network. One of the regulars on the Owl Light is Rob Smales. His book Spearfinger looks interesting. His stories that he tells on the network are amazing. So I am interested in reading his book to see if his work translates.

We are proud to give you the reading order for Tish MacWebber’s stories in our anthologies. Did You know that they were connected?

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. Starting with an interesting book of poetry…Darker Objects by Christine E. Ray This was published by Indie Blu(e) publishing. It has multiple poets helping Christine to express her poetry. It looks like it is going to be a wonderful read.
  2. This next one is Urban Fantasy…and one I have been waiting for…Soul Reaper by DB Smyth. Published by Balance of Seven, this book has gritty themes and lots of dark feels. It looks like a great add on to the Tbr.
  3. Looking for a fun book about writing? So far it’s only available on the Kindle… but Drop the Red Pen! by Tish MacWebber is a fun read. A lot of humor and a lot of good solid advice. She is working on getting the paperback edition available. It’s supposed to be available on the 22nd!
  4. Okay…I know I already shared a poetry volume…but this was a really pretty book. The Comment Poems: Encounters with Contagious Poets By Robert Wertzler. The poetry makes it worth being on anyone’s TBR.
  5. And let’s round this off with a children’s book. Journey with Dad 2: Jasmine’s Adventure By Destiny and John Constantin I read the first one, and it was really cute. I look forward to seeing how the story continues.
