Fae Corps Publishing uses Discord to work on their anthologies. if this is a problem please note it in the submission. It will not bar your work from the anthology, but it would be nice to know ahead if it is a problem.

Our Catalog is found at books2read.com/rl/faecorpsllc so you can see what we have done previously.

and everybody knows

a fist clenched becomes your life,
and you learn to hate who you were

learn to hate who you are

your father’s biggest
disappointment, right?

your mother’s favorite junkie

one more goddamn ghost in a
half-empty house
just looking for a trigger to pull

John Sweet sends greetings from the rural wastelands of upstate NY. He is a firm believer in writing as catharsis, and in compassionate nihilism which, as luck would have it, has all the best bands. His published collections include NO ONE STARVES IN A NATION OF CORPSES (2020 Analog Submission Press) and THERE’S ONLY ONE WAY THIS IS GOING TO END (Cyberwit, 2023).

Cover Reveal For A Friend

👑COVER REVEAL👑

Secret Guard, a new YA dystopian fantasy by @c8_marie, is releasing on Kindle Vella in the spring of 2024, and I’ve got a first look at the cover and blurb! For updates and notifications about Cait’s releases, make sure to follow her! . . ✨BLURB✨ Eighteen years ago, the heroes of the Great War outlawed magic to protect their people. Or so they claimed. The kingdom of Tulansia still lies in ruin, and now, their past is coming back to haunt them. Charles Lamden, former hero named traitor, is finally ready for vengeance, and it starts by leading a violent rebel faction in an invasion on the castle to take the royal family hostage. Only Princess Emmalyn manages to flee with the help of her best friend. The two find shelter in a hidden mountain village, where Emma quickly realizes that everything she knows of the world is a lie. Her best friend, the boy she’s loved her whole life, is one of her secret guards—a group created by her father, sworn to protect her above all others. Those with magic aren’t the dangerous people she was always taught to fear, and they might be her only hope in rescuing her family. And her parents? They’re behind so much of the deceit. Because there’s a bigger reason the rebels took the royals hostage, and Emma’s at the very center of it. . . . #coverreveal #secretguard #riseoftheloti #caitmarie #yafantasy #yadystopian #dystopianfantasy #yabooks #fantasybooks #romantasy #fantasyromancebooks #bookrecs #newbooks #mustread #booksta #bookstagram #booksbooksbooks

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. The first one this week is a spicy Christmas book by Skye Turner. Crazy for Christmas has everything you would expect from a Holiday story and then some. It definitely makes our TBR.
  2. As a fan of TTRPG’s I am curious about One More Turn By D.H. Dunn. This looks like a fun read,
  3. This one has not released yet, but I am eagerly awaiting it…Wings of Ink by Angelina J. Steffort Looks Fantastic! February can’t come quick enough!
  4. Who can’t use a new vampire love in their life? Peacock’s Lament by L.D. Wosar looks like it might just do the trick.
  5. The last one this time is a graphic novel that looks fairly interesting. Enenra by Aaron Wroblewski seems to have that whole horror vibe going on that catches the mind.

Check back next week for more TBR recommendations.

Our Saturday TBR

So we often have friends releasing new books. And we love to recommend them. Starting today, Every Saturday I am going to start recommending five new/newish releases that are on our TBR for you to read.

  1. The first on the list is a poetry list with guided journal aspects. The Poet is such a down to earth and natural person that I am honestly looking forward to reading her words. CHRONOS TO KAIROS By Jamela T. Brown Looks like it will be worth the read.
  2. The next one is a Christian children’s book, We were recommended it because it was a touching story about a family member. It looks like it might be a good story. Joe Bob Has something to say by Glenda H. Fisher definitely makes our list.
  3. A touching story about found family, The Family Tree That Grew From Me By Chianne Franklin looks like a heartwarming addition to the tbr for the holiday season.
  4. For those looking for Romance during the holidays the next two will fill that bill. Our first suggestion – Christmas at Crockett Cove Inn by Celosia Crane is a cozy and fun story.
  5. The Last one is an Anthology. An Earl for Christmas has three different authors with three great stories. Each one a great gift for the holiday.

Check back next week for more TBR recommendations.
