I CAN CRY

I CAN CRY

Working hard is what I do, bruises and cuts are many too,

I know Iโ€™m strong but the pain is inside, so I can cry.

There lives in me the will to survive, Iโ€™ve walked fifty miles.

When my journey was done with god at my side, I can cry,

I can throw a football, hike up through the hills and fall,

I can run through a fire, defend my girl, I can cry.

I can cry when the world is at war,

I can be strong and I can cry some more.

When you lose a loved one or this world takes from you,

It is that I will cry, I am a man and any man can cry too.

To know that I can take care of everything I need in life,

When itโ€™s time then I know itโ€™s alright and that I can cry.
