Winter

Glitter in the moonlight

Ride upon the wind

Hit you with an icy bite

Leaves you feeling skinned

Deadly is my beauty

Pull you from your home

Into alabaster sea

Now you are alone

Feathering your lashes

Fragile -seeming thing

Iโ€™ll crumble you like ashes

You will bow to me

Hear the children laughing

That is not your fate

Numb you into relaxing

Hush, itโ€™s getting late

As your eyes are closing

Heart is beating slow

You look as if youโ€™re dozing

But itโ€™s time to go

Youโ€™re my sole endeavor

Wrapped in my embrace

Together now forever

Peace upon your face
